Shimmer on the River

Shimmer on the River is the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy's largest annual fundraiser, returning to Robert C. Valade Park on June 18, 2026. The family-friendly evening features live musical performances, local food and beverages, activities for all ages, and a VIP Reception honoring Dr. John Hartig and Sarah & Chip McClure. Ticket proceeds directly support the ongoing maintenance, programming, and security of the Detroit Riverfront.
